Answers to common questions, and a human if you need one.
You start each puzzle with 1,000 points, and that number is your prize if you solve right away. The first tile you lift costs 20, and each one after costs a little more, so late reveals are pricier than early ones. A wrong guess costs 50 and a paid Peek costs 60. The meter never drops below 100, so you can always finish. Matching a chip's twin earns a small bonus, and a quick solve adds a time bonus on top. The app times you quietly in the background, so there is no clock on screen rushing you.
Every tile hides a small chip, and every chip has a twin somewhere on the board. You get a short peek at all of them before the puzzle starts. Lift a tile whose twin you already lifted and you earn a match bonus instead of paying for the reveal.
On Saturdays and Sundays the daily plays as a memory match. The picture only appears where you clear tiles, and tiles only clear when you flip two matching chips. A miss flips both back and costs a few points, while back-to-back matches build a combo for extra points. You can still type your answer at any moment, and weekend solves count toward the same streak.
Each themed pack is a collection of hand drawn rebus puzzles you can play any time, no daily wait. The first three puzzles of every pack are free to try. A pack is a one-time purchase of $2.99, or Unlock Everything gets you every pack (including future ones) for $14.99, shareable with your family through Apple Family Sharing. There are no subscriptions and no consumable currencies.
Open Settings inside Peekture and tap Restore Purchases, or just pull up the pack and tap its price button; Apple will recognize the earlier purchase and unlock it without charging you again. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
Relaxed mode, in Settings, gives you a longer look at the pairs and turns off the timer entirely. Relaxed scores stay off the leaderboard, so it is purely for the joy of the puzzle. Streaks still count.
Yes. As long as your devices are signed into the same iCloud account, your streaks, stats, and pack progress sync automatically. There is no account to create and nothing to set up.
Give it a moment and reopen the app; iCloud sync can take a few seconds. Check that both devices are signed into the same iCloud account in system settings. If it still looks wrong, email us and we will help.
Puzzles made in the app's builder travel as links. If your friend has Peekture installed, the link opens straight into the puzzle. If they don't, the link opens a playable version right in their web browser, no install needed. They can also copy a puzzle code and use Import inside the app.
Draw a square image, 1024 by 1024 or larger, that spells out a phrase. Email it to art@peekture.app along with the answer and the name you want credited. Everything is reviewed before it goes live. There is also a Submit Artwork page inside the app under More Options.
Email support@peekture.app and a person will get back to you.
